Want a little extra competition during your day on the course?

The BFB Fall Classic Championship Flight is an optional competitive division for golfers who want to compete for the inaugural BFB Fall Classic Championship Trophy and additional prizes.

  • The Championship Flight will be played as a four-person scramble, allowing every member of the team to contribute throughout the round.

    A handicap adjustment will be applied to team scores using the tournament's established handicap and scoring system to help create a fair competition between teams of different skill levels.

    Crystal Springs Resort's tournament staff will assist with establishing and verifying the appropriate scoring procedure.

  • Every Championship Flight foursome will have a designated Tournament Monitor throughout the round.

    Tournament Monitors will help ensure tournament rules are followed, assist with scorekeeping, and verify scores throughout the round. All Championship Flight scorecards will be reviewed before the final results are announced.

    Mulligans are not permitted in the Championship Flight.

    Our goal is simple: create a competitive experience that is fun, fair, and transparent for everyone.

  • The foursome with the lowest adjusted score at the conclusion of the tournament will be crowned the:

    BFB FALL CLASSIC CHAMPIONS

    The winning foursome will receive the BFB Fall Classic Championship Trophy, a perpetual trophy that will be awarded to the winning team each year.

    Additional prizes will also be awarded to the Championship Flight winner(s)

  • A golf handicap is a system used to account for differences in players' skill levels. It allows golfers of different abilities to compete against one another on a more level playing field.

  • No. You do not need to be an experienced or highly competitive golfer to participate in the Championship Flight. Golfers with an established handicap can provide it during registration, while golfers without one will be handled according to the tournament's established scoring procedures.

FAQ

  • Your registration includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, access to the driving range and range balls, a dinner buffet, draft beer, tournament competitions, a hole-in-one competition, and a player gift bag. Registration also includes the opportunity to participate in additional raffles and games throughout the event.

  • Absolutely! Individual golfers are welcome to register. If you do not have a complete foursome, we will pair you with other registered golfers to form a group.

  • The Championship Flight is an optional competitive division for golfers who want to compete for the BFB Fall Classic Championship. For an additional $20 per golfer, participating teams will compete for the championship trophy and additional prizes. The Championship Flight will be limited to 10 foursomes and requires a minimum of 3 foursomes to take place.

  • Golf-appropriate attire is required. Collared golf shirts and appropriate golf shorts or pants are recommended. Please follow Crystal Springs Resort's current dress code for the course and clubhouse.

  • If you are unable to attend after registering, please contact Bags For Buddies as soon as possible. Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated, but you may transfer your spot to another golfer by notifying us before the event.
